As an addendum to my recent article on Affiliate Marketing, I want my readers to know about a new program added by Google. Now, instead of just have ads based on the content network or keyword searches and bidding for keywords, Google is offering site targeted ads.
After you write your ad, you can choose its category and then choose from thousands of different websites that fit into these categories. Stats on the readership of each site are included in the lists. Your ad will be then shown as an Adsense ad on sites chosen specifically by YOU for overall fit and market potential.
This is a great way to make sure the clientele YOU want are the ones who see your ads.
Just like regular Adwords, you bid a maximum per click rate and a daily maximum.
I am already seeing the impact in my little Adwords business from using this approach, and managing it based on the number of clicks I get.
