Design the opening page of the presentation like a traditional book cover that inspires readers to look inside. Be sure to reference the author of the presentation, company logo and published date for customers to reference.
Review the presentation with fresh eyes. Is the information clear to an individual who knows nothing about the topic? If not, add additional slides to communicate the information more clearly.
For brief bullet points that were appropriate for a slide show, add additional information to convey the entire text that was communicated during the presentation. Add captions to pictures to help communicate more clearly.
For easy reference, consider adding a table of contents and page numbers to each page as well. Include a reference and source page at the end of the e-book to cite sources used to create the e-book.
Since the electronic book will be used as a promotional tool, be sure to add a footer to the entire presentation or a closing page with a call to action that encourages readers to sign up for a newsletter or request a free trial of software. Be sure the electronic book also includes business contact information, web site address, blog address and any social media sites customers can follow business activities on.

Depending on the type of presentation software used, there are a few different ways to save a presentation as a PDF file. In PowerPoint 2007, select “Save As” from the menu and select PDF file. If the computer used has a Adobe Acrobat software loaded, a PDF file can also be made by selecting the Adobe PDF printer when printing the presentation.
A box will appear asking for the PDF e-book file name and location. Save the PDF e-book as a name that contains key words that potential customers may use to search for a product or service provided. The electronic book is now ready to distribute by e-mail or to post on a web site or blog.
